Meet Autism Charity Appeer – Woking
Appeer provide advice, support and events to autistic women and girls in Surrey.
They provide online and in-person events where autistice girls, teens and women (along with parents/carers) can connect through interests and receiving support. The aim is for autistic girls and women to meet like-minded peers and truly be themselves.
A formal diagnosis of autism is not necessary for any girl or woman to access their groups; recognising that there can be many barriers to being diagnosed, particularly for females. At their events, parents and carers are also encouraged to meet, on-site, to encourage sharing and peer support.
Come along and meet the staff from Appeer and hear about their support and how it can benefit you and the person you care for.
